The exhibition comes to life between the enormous volume of the disquieting industrial building and its bustling and ephemeral use, the interplay between the space and experimentation with it, as seen through the lens of fifty works by modern artists. All are site-specific interventions.

A design studio in a former 2,000 ft² refrigerator and an enormous, dark hall, where you can stroll between sculptures, videos, installations, paintings, a totally dark refrigerator (the epitome of disquieting, you can still smell the meat) from which you can escape via a soundtrack collecting snippets of the artists’ conversations about their city, their experiences... yet another facet of the landscape is revealed here.
