Roissy-en-France
2020
In 2020, as part of the major transformation of Terminal 2E at Paris-Charles-de-Gaulle airport, smarin designed a space in the L boarding hall.
This project is part of the Aéroports de Paris Group's approach to hospitality, designed to welcome passengers in the most functional and comfortable environments.
Following on from the Nap Bar designed by smarin in 2013, L36 is structured around the Dunes, meridiennes made up of different densities for optimal ergonomics in the lying position and restorative rest. Another area features the Livingstones seats, oversized pebbles designed and manufactured in France in the smarin workshop. These spaces, which include waiting, relaxation and work areas, have been carefully designed to optimize the general well-being of passengers.
This project has transformed the boarding hall into a pleasant place to rest, and embodies the ADP Group's ambition in terms of airport hospitality.
