Arriving on the French Riviera is a sensory experience.
The Nice Côte d’Azur Airport wanted to call attention to its star destinations, Nice and Monaco, as passengers stepped off the plane, by setting up two Traveler Centers similar enough to be identifiable in Terminals 1 and 2.
Smarin’s Traveler Center proposal is a space partially closed off by a translucent cut-off partition. Made out of innovative and upmarket architectural material, the translucent aesthetics of the partition give the Traveler Center a strong presence and good visibility at the same time.
The space is both well demarcated and identifiable, with good visibility, while being perfectly integrated into the main halls of Terminals 1 and 2. The preexisting spaces are thus neither altered nor obstructed, they are embellished.
